Due to the now long-standing friendship between the Fondation Vasarely and the Galerie am Lindenplatz, we are delighted to have been given the opportunity to organise and curate the exhibition Espace | Lumiere | Reflexion with Miriam Prantl and Stefan Faas in this architecturally unique venue.

The dialogue between the artworks created by the works of both artists not only represents a breathtaking and visually unique symbiosis, but also transcends the tradition of Victor Vasarely or the Fondation Vasarely in the sense of Op-art, and continues the kinetic confrontation between object and viewer by incorporating space as an additional dimension of the presentation, thus developing it into an immersive, multi-sensory whole.

Miriam Prantl's light installations and paintings live from a contrast of linear austerity and subtly chosen colourfulness. Stefan Fass explores the boundaries of abstraction in his mirror steel sculptures based on anthropomorphic forms.

In the interplay, new formal elements emerge in the reflection and, in the final room, a total work of art that appeals to all the senses and transports the viewer into a mystical sphere.
